Revolution Associates was founded in 1996 by Elton Potts. He successfully ran the company building the company brand. There have been several articles written on the company and its original owner. The company grew to become a top business in the marketing industry. Revolution Associates became a leader in digital marketing on social media and has been one of the most utilized agencies in the Metro Detroit area as well as the state of Michigan. 

 

2001:

After a revamp of the management structure and a more viable location Revolution Associates open a new branch in the corporation. Revolt Marketing Group was introduced as a elite and specialized team of marketers within the already strong company. “RevoltMG” became the “Bad Boy” of the industry. This “marketing with attitude” became a benefit to its clients pushing people out of the box of standard marketing. “We need to wake up old ways don’t work anymore. Being a business means you need to stay on the cutting edge and most marketing tactics are dull and boring with little to no reach.” Says Elton Potts Founder. 2005:

Revolution Associates premiers its new proprietary software to make it easier for its clients to follow and track results in real time. Producing results is only part of the business. being able to report and track those results are essential. The software allows clients to see the exact traffic and the specific “hot points” that are drawing clients and repelling potential customers.

 

Elton decided to team up with long time friend and help build Port City Media / Music. This spawned the new web show Muscle and Classics.

 

This was also the year Elton Began a company called S. M. I. Which stood for Successful Members Incorporated. The company was building on the basis of groups having power to make changes and decide the outcome of many major purchases in the members life. The company gained much traction, but was stopped by Elton because he felt” The average person wouldn’t be able to get the concept”.

 

 

2006:

The company celebrates 10 years in business. Elton says: “I felt like we would never get here, and here we are. A decade of blood, sweat, and tears became success and a strong industry standing.”

 

 

2010:

Revolution Associates partners with AT&T to help market the new services.

This was the year of M.O.R.E This company began to take the real estate industry by surprise when it opened its first of many branches. The name M.O.R.E would stand for Members Only Real Estate. This company charged a membership fee instead of commissions on each sale. This immediately opened the company up to a higher clientele. Instead of opening under a broker and working to learn the business Elton decided to make a NEW business. As an innovator Elton Potts chose to build a better way to accomplish an old task.

 

 

2011:

Revolution Associates is contracted to work with ACN to help promote its unique brand of products.

M.O. R. E opens 6 new offices in the first quarter. 8 offices in the second quarter. and 3 offices in the fourth quarter.

 

 

2015:

Sarah Potts then Sarah Shorter is named Executive Marketing Manager for the Midwest Region. Sarah took on the role of gathering new potential clients and began to show the team she could lead the company to a profitable year end with a 67% increase in revenue.

Two M.O.R.E. offices opened with plans to expand further in the following year.

 

 

2016:

Sarah and Elton join forces in more than just business. The two who had been dating decide to make it official. Sarah and Elton began plans to not only merge Sarah to a new position as Vice President of the company but also as Mrs Potts. July of 2016 the couple pledge a life together and were married. Along with the birth of their son the junior to his father the company enjoyed success with several companies that year ranging from CSA to Melaleuca. 2016 saw a 23% growth over the previous year.

2017:

Revolution Associates moved deeper into the industry becoming an “all in one” service provider. Allowing clients to do everything in house became a huge advantage. While growth was slowed due to world events and tragedies it was still a positive growth at 14% increase in overall revenue.

2018:

Elton and Sarah Launched a group and weekly Facebook live called Over Everything. Designed to support its members and followers. This sparked the re-release of the S.M.I. project. which at the end of 2018 had over 65,000 world wide members.

2019:

Elton and Sarah decided to begin the re-release version of the S.M.I. project. which at the end of 2018 had over 65,000 world wide members has already grown to over 500,000 worldwide active participants.

Elton based on a business venture decided to create a “helping hand” for people in the network marketing landscape. After frustration with the actions of the industry as a whole and the specific area he chose to work within Elton decided to help “fix” it and started The Ad Pool. The Ad Pool has become a living and breathing entity Elton credits his members saying: “ If my members weren’t here there would be no Ad Pool so its not just me its us”.

 

6 M.O.R.E. offices opened while the couple will slow on the build out due to other projects launching in the near future they have expressed the interested in possibly franchising this concept.

 

2020 - 2022:

Elton and Sarah started the year strong looking to build a social media site to help people connect and grow financially, emotionally as well as mentally. As everything began rolling things ground to a complete halt because of the introduction of covid. While it was a tough year Elton and his wife Sarah managed to build a campaign that set most at ease and allowed people to prosper during a very volatile period in history.

 

2023 - 2024:

Elton and Sarah started several ventures. Itsonly5.com while wildly popular the business was ended due to people not wanting it to succeed. This resulted in an SEC investigation a fine of $10,000 and the clearance to continue the company if Licenses were correctly filed. Elton chose to end the venture and began building out a new company by the name of Solutions Club which has become a large entity designed to as the name suggests bring solutions to individuals and businesses alike. Elton also chose to revitalize the Successful Members Incorporated brand and bring new life to its membership. During this year Elton and Sarah partnered with other individuals to start a Teen foundation called TEAM RIOT. RIOT stands for Retired In Our Teens. This company is to help teach teens the needed information to learn respect and financial literacy.

 

2025:

Elton and Sarah decided this year would be a new year in many ways. While beginning a personal journey to become more healthy and make better health-conscious choices they were introduced to a company by the name of MPG Market Place Global. They remained focused on the marketing of the products from that company while also relaunching a new version of their social media site. During this time they are helping over 20 clients realize their dream businesses.
